The time you have all been waiting for is finally here. Ghost will be dropping in G2 Store this week!
A few notes about the drop. I originally had wanted to have a huge drop 100 plus Ghost available at the same time. At this time I just can’t make that work. What I plan to do is a weekly drop of 25ish units. Mixing in some other models as well. (CF 002, Wolf, Banshee) Now I know this could lead to some cart issues with the Ghost, so I won’t be releasing the time in advance. I’ll post on Instagram and FB when they go live. I know it’s not the ideal situation, but I hope it makes for the smoothest release.
Now for a few points about the Ghost. Retail price is going to be $65. They will be shipping with the Boss Rage bearing, some of you might remember I was testing to see if they would ship with the Rage or Ripper. The Ghost is PTFE (Teflon) as you know which allows for great grinds and weight distribution I could not get with other plastics. It’s also come with some challenges, it’s soft. It will ding/dent if you hit it on the ground. Don’t worry sandpaper will fix it right up. With the softness of the plastic, you can over tighten them and strip them. It’s easy to avoid and fix, but I suggest only tightening with your finger tips. Do not squeeze and tighten using your palms with extra force to screw it back together. One more point of interest about the Ghost. It’s a plastic, meaning it’s not going to be dead smooth like our metals. Most of you know that, but I just wanted to post it so there is no surprise when your ghost has a hint of vibe on your fingernail. I assure you I have tested every Ghost going out and am happy with how they perform.
